All about Hannah

Hannah is 6 months old now! We can hardly believe it!!! She is growing so fast and learning so much. She had her 6 month appointment last week and she is now 12 lbs. 13 oz. and 23.5 inches long. She is still only in the 5th percentile for her weight and height but she is really healthy and doing well. She is so cute and fun and we love playing with her!!! She has started making high pitched squealing sounds that are so cute. One of these days we will put video clips on our blog so everyone can see her in action.

Grandma & Grandpa Turner wanted to give Hannah a cupcake to celebrate 6 months. We didn't actually let her eat it but she did put her finger in the frosting and enjoyed licking it off.

Hannah has been getting close to sitting on her own for the past month. She is to the point where she can sit on her own for about 5-10 minutes. We try to stay close by to catch her or have a pillow behind her so it doesn't hurt when she falls.


She really likes to sit in our recliner. She wants to be like the grownups.


Hannah is getting more hair on top of her head. We can even give her little mohawks now:


Hannah's too small for timeouts so when she does act up we just put the laundry basket over her:


Here she is trying her high chair for the first time. She loved playing in it!


Here she is trying solids for the first time. We gave her rice cereal to begin with. She wasn't too sure at first:


She wanted to help by grabbing the spoon or bowl:


"Hey, this isn't too bad!"


This is her a couple weeks later when she started eating carrots. She loves eating!!!


Hannah loves to play with her feet now. She hasn't put them in her mouth yet but sometimes she gets close to trying.

Hannah loves to put everything in her mouth. Her new favorite toy is paper. We don't give it to her very often but when we do she will play with it and suck on it for a long time and she gets mad if we take it away. We have to watch her closely when she has it so she doesn't break off little pieces and eat them.
