We enjoyed a really fun and long Independence Day weekend. Because the 4th of July was on a Sunday this year, we were able to celebrate on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Saturday, the 3rd of July, we went to a breakfast that our ward does every year. We enjoyed some yummy food and we had fun visiting with some of our ward members. After breakfast Hannah had a nap and then we headed to Magna for the traditional Turner family festivities. First we joined some of the family at the Magna parade.
Hannah enjoyed chilling in her stroller most of the time:

Here are kids that were out getting candy (Sam, Ben, Baylee, and Zac):

We were given this flag at our ward breakfast and Hannah enjoyed waving it:

After the parade we all got ready to go swimming. This is the first time that Hannah went swimming and she really seemed to enjoy it. At first she just sat in the water and splashed. After awhile she just wanted to walk around while holding onto our fingers. If we took her out where she couldn't touch with her feet she would get upset so we stayed in the really shallow part most of the time.
Here she is testing the waters:

She loves to splash:

Very intrigued by the water on her hands:

After we got cleaned up from swimming we went to the church pavilion for a BBQ. We forgot to take pictures there. We enjoyed eating, playing Catch Phrase, and visiting with everyone!
We decided not to stay and watch the fireworks because Hannah was really tired and we didn't want to get back home too late, especially since we have the early church meetings. We did enjoy watching some fireworks as we were driving home, especially the ones at Thanksgiving Point and some in the distance at the Stadium of Fire.
On Sunday we went to church and enjoyed singing patriotic hymns. We didn't do much that day to celebrate but we all enjoyed a nice afternoon nap.
On Monday morning we went to the Freedom Festival parade in Provo. We decided to go sit by some of our friends in the ward but the seats weren't that great. We still had fun and enjoyed seeing what we could from a distance.
Hannah & Brian having fun:

Brian tried the shoulder thing for awhile but Hannah didn't like being there for too long:

I love this picture:

Chillin' in the stroller:

I couldn't get our camera to work during most of the parade & it finally started working as we were leaving so this is the only shot I got of the actual parade:

After the parade we headed home and Hannah took a nap and then we headed to Draper to celebrate with the Price family. We had a very yummy BBQ, played Ticket to Ride, and enjoyed visiting with each other. We didn't take any pictures there but I wish we would have.
