Seth and Hannah growing

I am way behind on our blog and still plan to post some things from the past few months but I just wanted to do a quick post and mention a few things about our 2 sweet children that are growing way too fast!!!

Last week Seth turned 5 months old and Hannah turned 2 and a half. Here is a picture that Brian took of the 2 of them playing together:

Seth is such a sweet and mostly happy baby boy! He is smiling and laughing a lot now and one of his favorite things to do is to watch Hannah.  He is still growing but not as rapidly as before. Our pediatrician suggested that we start feeding him solids so he has now tried a few things and he loves them! He can roll from his back to his tummy and occasionally he can go from his tummy to his back but he is still working on that. Before long he will probably be rolling all over the house. He can sit up on his own a little but we still need to be right next to him to catch him when he falls over. He likes to make lots of cute little sounds and he puts almost everything he can grab into his mouth. We love our adorable baby Seth!

Hannah is such a sweet, smart, and determined little girl! She has a very good imagination and one of her favorite things to do right now is to play pretend. We pretend we are at a hotel, at the store, at church, in the car, at the beach, etc. She is also going through a phase where she loves to help do the dishes. She pulls a chair over to the sink and rinses all of the dishes off. She also likes to help empty the dishwasher. She wants to be involved in almost everything we are doing. She still loves to read books, she likes to watch movies and youtube videos, she likes to go to the park, to the library, to the store (and pretty much anywhere else), and she likes to play with all her different toys. Her favorite toy is still (and probably always will be) her pink teddy bear, Princess. She loves going to nursery on Sundays and she has made a few good friends there. She knows most of the basic shapes and colors and she can recognize many of the letters of the alphabet. She has a very good vocabulary and she is getting really good at forming sentences that are grammatically correct. She loves to observe other people and she is very shy in public. She is also a typical 2 year old and likes to do things she knows she is not supposed to do. She drives us crazy sometimes but we love our sweet Hannah and can't believe how big she is getting!
