Cyleste and Leah

Cyleste and Leah came to visit us last week. Brian went to a conference in Vancouver so it was just the 4 girls most of the time. We did some fun things together and Cyleste also helped out a lot by doing some cleaning and taking care of Hannah at various times. She even let Brian and I go on a date together when he was back from his trip. Thanks for all your help Cyleste!!!

We decided to go to the beach while they were here so we went to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. It was Leah's first time being on the beach and seeing the ocean. She loved to play in the sand:

Some other kids had dug a big hole in the sand and Leah and Hannah wanted to play in it for awhile:

Hannah loved playing in the water that day! Usually she only likes to go in for a few minutes but she probably would have stayed out there most of the day if I would have let her:

Leah enjoyed the water at first but quickly decided she didn't want to play in it so she spent most of her time in the sand or in Cyleste's arms:

Cyleste bought ice cream for everyone before we left the boardwalk. Look how tired the girls look:

Cyleste thought it would be fun to go to Happy Hollow so we took the girls there one day. I've already posted lots of pictures of Hannah at Happy Hollow but we don't have any with Leah so here are some more:

Another exhausting day:

We decided to visit a place called Emma Prusch farm which is pretty close to our house. I had heard from others that it was a fun place to take kids so we went to check it out. We had a picnic lunch and then we went to see some of the animals and play on the playground.

There were a lot of roosters roaming around the place. Hannah got pretty close to this one:
