Southern California

We decided to go on a short trip to Southern California recently. We spent a big chunk of the first day driving to Los Angeles and the kids were so good in the car! We spent that night in a nice hotel room that we got for free.

Brian has decided to take up photography as a hobby and he took some online courses that Adobe offers. We purchased a nice camera recently and took it on the trip. Brian thought it would be fun to stop at all the temples that we would be close to on our trip and take pictures of them with the new camera. I think his photos look great! You'll have to let us know what you think. The second day of our trip we began the day by going to the Redlands temple. Here are some pictures Brian took:

 After we were done at the temple we drove to Laguna beach and spent a few hours there eating lunch and playing in the water.

When we were done at the beach we headed to San Diego and stopped to see the San Diego temple

We had planned to go to the San Diego Zoo the following day but decided that we needed a more low key day so we spent some time at our hotel. Brian and Hannah went swimming. Hannah spent most of the time out of the water:

Later that day we drove to Seaport Village and walked down the Embarcadero.

We spent our last full day in San Diego at SeaWorld. Hannah had so much fun there and was so happy. Seth spent most of the time sleeping or eating and he was so good. We weren't sure how long we would last there with the 2 kids but we ended up staying there until it almost closed because they were both so good.

The last day of our trip was mostly spent driving. We did stop at the Newport Beach temple and the Los Angeles temple to walk around and get some pictures. The gates to the Newport temple were closed so Brian just took a few outside of the gates quick.
